Nah, there is no where near the amount of toys being thrown from cots as in the "would a plane take off on a treadmill thread".

I read a couple of pages, and got bored.
I can see two sides.
Against.
Parents who've shelled out lots for their kids bikes might see more equipment as a big expense on top of bike fixing etc. That could upset a lot of people, and take some out of racing.
Also, some of the requirements sound to be a little restrictive of movement. That could contribute to some offs mayhaps?
For
Less injury, more riding!!! Also, as far as the neck brace argument etc, when that came in for F1, for Aussie Touring etc, they all moaned, but it's saved lives since. Or atleast, less paralysations cos of accident.
I'd hope due review was done in this decision making. That proper consultation with riders, and with international race series too.
Aside from that, I figure it'll all work it's way out, just as soon as all this simmers down.
My buck oh five.

Policy officially launched. The policy is up here.
I'll read through it before providing a quick summary...

This thread is so bad, it should actually detract from the number of hits this site registers.
...and here I am contributing.
*sigh*

I don't know what gloves you wear. All my gloves have rubber grippers on the brake fingers and palms. Like 5.10s they get MORE grippy in the wet, as a bit of moisture washes the dust off. Maybe gloves that grip in the wet don't come in the latest grom fashion colour?
learn to read buddy when your gloves get muddy not wet. |
I think you need to tell us how your gloves get muddy. If your hands are on the bars how can the palms get mud on them? |
well you see if the tracks muddy, the mud gets on your bike and you need to lift your bike on and off the transport. crazy I know.
also if you fall off |
If youve crashed your screwed anyway. Take your gloves off if your not riding champ. Problem solved. |
Yea, new pair of gloves every run, or just one run on a rainy day? If it's how you roll ,I'm sure it's gonna catch on

Ahh, the youth of today, how they forget.
Or never knew more like it.
Anyway this thread is teh comdy glod, lucky you groms dont do any motor racing, or you'd be complaining about having to replace seatbelts, overalls, and helmets every few years just cos someone who doesnt race said so!
