That was MBi wasn't when Chris Porter (mojo suspension, the UK Fox distributor) was the editor, great magazine

GT threw big toys at them, but they never seemed to be short of bikes to ride (or gas money to go ride on france / spain)

Means little until somebody weighs the frame (and shock),
after all the rest of the compments are two thirds-three quarters of the weight.

Class leading frameweight is a nice phrase, but are they "leading" by 0.05 lbs? Who knows ?

I can tell you that they are light. Probably very close to what they claim. (This is for the complete bike)
I haven't picked up a frame yet.

from velo news

"Todd Wells and Burry Stander leave GT for Specialized, while Liam Killeen moves from Specialized to Trek under an expanded program run by former Honda team director Martin Whitely. Also going to Trek is downhiller World Cup champion Greg Minnaar, from Santa Cruz Syndicate. Downhiller Sam Hill is expected to move from Monster Energy to Specialized."

Sam Hill at the Syndicate was never going to happen.
Minnaar on the Trek and Hill on a Specialized should be interesting. Hmmm.
Good for the development of more good bikes IMO.
