Thinking back to the orginal question, I recommend getting some little wooden boxes, filling them with the ashes and selling them as 'left over neighbors from hell.' He he He....

But seriously get them good and wet, mix them up and get them in to the garden, again, unless they are from treated timber, you really dont want to be growing with that stuff. If its from treated timber then send it to the tip.
