The best tool i've found for weeding out them dirty old agapanthas is an axe. Very satisfying.
Yar - I removed about 5 cubic meters of the basdrats with a grubber at our old house. The new place has a massive infestation on the bank next to the driveway, but I'm leaving it until I sort out the vege garden around the back and the lawn out the front.
I'm thinking of using the grubber on the aloe plants we've got too - there is a massive on (about 3m tall) that fell over in a recent storm that is just asking to be cut into pieces and taken away somewhere...
I love gardening
There's something carthartic about weeding.
Ha, if you think weeding is cathartic you should try some power gardening!! Bought a hedge trimmer the other day... chewed a mass of honeysuckle hedge that has not been hacked for the last 10 years into shape in about 30 mins yesterday!!
