Avoid it all, VLC FTW.
Last time I tried it VLC was way way too basic. I need pretty buttons to poke at, and I need to be able to fiddle with playlists easier. Has VLC improved in the last little bit?

It plays my video files for me, thats a big gnikcuf improvement on media player (of which i was previously a fan).
why the kcuf is everything I own going to the tihsters
1) new laptops cd drive aint workin
2)computer speakers starting to die with the plug wearing out
3) $50 ipod earplugs - as above
4)went to clean the dhr after muddy shuttles the other week, and the BB is faarrrked
In all honesty I've lost a lot of the passion I had for biking in the last 8 months

No hasnt changed at all, after all there is no need to change something that is perfect
The simplicity is what is so great about it, as for playlists I use Winamp for playing music so dunno how tihse VLC is at that

True, is good for videos. But I don't like much for playing music.

What kind of BB is it? External type jobby?
Frankly I get annoyed at bike tihs changing all the time, ISCGI ISCGII, square taper/ISIS/External (I'm quite happy with ISIS)
White components.
Maybe I should stock on Hayes Mag pads while I'm at it!
Maybe I need a bloody Rohloff.

yea on gravity cranks (worst design ever, stay away!).
the bb was stiff as a mofo and wasnt working right so I pulled the cranks off (knowing the plastic bush that had broken on the drive side was a likely cause) but it turned out the nondrive side was a bit seized (should be fine if I take it out of the frame and show it some love).
so I'll try take it out of the frame and I've emailed the man in rotorua about some parts and hopefully it wont be an unfunctioning piece of tihs sometime in the next month or two. I'm over it.
About gravity cranks, is there supposed to be a crush washer on the drive side of the crank/bb as well as the non drive? or only on the non drive side.
and also, does anyone have any tips for getting the new bb bearing bush thing (tihsty plastic thing that broke that made me lose all respect for gravity products and the monkeys that design them) without breaking the new one?
