I had a set of brand new 1 inch threaded steerer chromed steel forks. Have just shifted house so they are buried somewhere in the garage, but I am sure I could dig them out if you would like them. $20?

Hi
That would be great if you could dig them out {Smile} i don't really want to take them back to the shop that tried to fit a shim to the old fork and pass them off as fixed (bad bad form) cool as $20, email me if it's easier for you dansgt[at]gmail.com thanks Trail

I will go and see if I can find them tonight. Wish me luck... there are boxes and more boxes piled in the garage at the moment and I might need a bit of luck to find the right box!!

No luck at all sorry. I am thinking it must be still in the shed at the old place sitting on top of a rafter or something?? I did have a decent look and found the bunch of stuff I thought it would have been with, but the forks were not there. Might go past and see if the garage is unlocked at the old place on the way home. I dont think anyone has moved in there yet {Wink}

No sorry... no luck. Even went and had a look in the old garage for you. The forks have disappeared into the bemuda triangle of shifting. I am sure they will show up in a couple of years time in some strange place {Crazy}

Hey
yep Threaded 1inch, the head tube on the bike is 105mm (not including the headset) and the forks are about 400mm, is ahead steerer like a modern 1 1/8 with star nut that locks it down ? Not to fused about colour, but black or sliver would be great, or cannondale blue/green like in attached pic {Smile} but i don't think thats gona happen.
