I've been round the NZ scene for a few years now and can't say I've ever seen any anti social behaviour at any race, some of the after parties are another story but thats to expected when males mix with alchohol.
I beg to differ. The attitude at races these days is far different to what it used to be. But I think it mainly comes from kids in general. Kids attitudes are different to what they were. Far more me me me than it used to be. It's not so much an indication of attitude in DH, more of a general attitude full stop. Kids should be banned

What you said. Double Thumbs Up

i think its a bit of both. Yonger riders are definatly norpe to a bit of stuck up arogant 'im better than you'-ness but as they get older (late teens - 20s) it tends to dissappear.

The great fashion parade that is dh will never embrace skinsuits.

When I was watching the BMX during the olympics I wondered why nobody was wearing skins. I would have thought that at least someone would have been wearing tighties for the smallest advantage that they could get.
Lycra for BMX?? If it were me going for gold, I would have oiled up and squeezed into some.
Anyone who has ridden a bike in the wind knows the more flapping around, the slower you go.

I think a BMX rider would be more concerned about how much their clothing protects their apendages' from bumps, cuts and abrasions.

That was pretty gnikcuf childish of Rachel, maybe if she grew up and wore one herself Tracey might not have beaten her as many times as she as this year. Or maybe she's ok with getting second?
