I haven't ridden T3 yet, so just wondering is it better to ride from the Vertigo end or from the Trickle Falls side? Which direction is more downhill?

TF -> vertigo is downhill

But, it should be fine in the other direction as well, and much more sheltered than Zac's in a northerly

Hi there

T3 is more downhill from the trickle falls end but it is designed to be ridden both ways. I went through yesterday and it rides quite nice from TF 2 Vertigo, I think traction may be an issue going the other way at the moment.

Have fun.

Yeah - on sunday I rode much of the way up (vertigo -> trickle falls). It was ok apart from a couple of small spots, but it's definitely easier going coming down from trickle falls.

I've only ridden it the once, going up.

I struggled to bring skill, strength and traction into play in the required quantities to make much more than stop start progress.

That was back before Easter. Do I remember a post somewhere that a bit more vegetation had been trimmed back. That would help.

I will go back.

Veg has been trimmed, and I do suggest having a crack in the Dh direction.
Still tricky, but far more doable, especially if the batteries are running a bit low after scaling the wee hill...
