Vee and I are stuck in Rotorua after my car broke down* just outside of Hunterville (south of Taihape, north of Bulls) on the drive up from Welly. With the aid of some clever people at the local pub and a freindly intercity coach driver (who didn't even charge us for our huge bikes, just the exorbiant ticket prices) we managed to make it to Vegas, by 4.30am.

However, my car is still in Hunterville, and won't be fixed till tomorrow (Monday 1/9/08) pm. Is anyone driving from Rotorua to Hunterville tomorrow and have space for two friendly Vorbettes and 2 DH bikes (or know anyone that is)? We're more than happy to pay for petrol, at the mo we'll be having to bus which will cost a total of $120 and carriage of bikes is at their discretion. So paying petrol surely will work out cheaper, and mean we can definitely take our bikes...

Anyway, just though I'd put it out there and see if anyone can help!

Thanks

* It's a 1993 Toyota Corolla, 1.3L, and the clutch slooooooowly parcped out as we were driving north, until the motor was just revving away with no drive to the wheels. It's getting a new clutch from a freindly garage man in H-ville Sad

If all else fails - I'm in Vegas, and could arrange shipping bikes back (30-40$ each I think), were you to get a lift in car with no room.

Actually, I'm off to zippy's for a coffee/ newspaper soon.
