Tad annoying having to make 3 seperate trips down south in and around the start of the school year though. It was nice and easy having all the lower SI races all in one go.

yea thats complete tihs. whoever made those downhill south island dates needs to be shot. wata drater having them 4 weeks in between each race. having to make three seperate trips down and then another for national champs. can bikenz not think? a pack of kcids if u ask me

It is under 4 weeks t do all three and It is always like this for south islander to head north and race.

Another event to keep in mind during the SI DH Cup is the Coronet Peak Brake Burner, which is happening on Feb 7th, Waitangi weekend.
So while it looks like the four week spread for SI DH events is quite wide, there are some great options available if you want to pack more racing in.
Likewise the SI XC Cup - the Flock Hill event tales place on Feb 21st and can be factored in to the road trip or that weekend treated as a rest.
As always, MTBNZ does the best it can with the options available, and we hope you all enjoy this summer's competitive racing programme.

yea wanganui definatly cause we are only aloud to use napier for north island series race... would like to use it for nats again though
