Went and did a run of the top section and down through the native - then pedaled back up and did a run of the new section. Still quite a bit of snow lying on the roadside. Couple of good runs they were. The track seems to be quite a bit rockier after all the rain - maybe it was 'cos I was on a trail bke today. Fun anyhow.

The Ben Nevis trail rider has been rubbing it in today while I have to work.
His camera must be playing up this is what I found at my door when I got home.

A mate and i went up there today. not too sure what track we went down but it was pretty hardcore. a bit too full on for my liking. Half way down it had 2 big trees over it and we had to do a bit of bush bashing to find the track again. Might try again next weekend but try a different track. Was a bit of a mission biking back up to the top to get the van tho :

Sounds like you went down the new section - I had to bash through those Douglas yesterday. Yeah that roads a hell-of-a climb.
here's a jump down lower - that you wouldn't want to fall short on!

never saw that jump. thats madness. we finished at a skid site and then rode back down the rode to another skid site with an abandoned car on it, then back to the top. maybe we only did half the track? it was too rough and rocky for my liking. im more into smooth tracks.

Was a shame to see that car dumped up there. im sure it has nothing to do with any mtn bikers though - and if anyone knew who dumped it they'd tell them to remove it!
