it's hard to comprehend selling something an hour later with a $300 loss, and even harder to reason why you prefer your 570s... what didn't you like about them? what were you powering them with?

my 570s are just worn in a bit more. A bit more comfortable. I use headphones at work connected to my MB Pro and at home on a Denon Receiver/Amplifier. I originally got them for home use only as I hated carting headphones back and forward. As for the $300 loss, the "2nd hand" market isn't very forgiving is it? Thanks for your interest!

these are serious headphones - I ahve had the $800 HD650's and my advis eis hang onto the 595's they ahve a more forward presentation, running them from the denon will make them sound thin and parcpy, probably because they are more accurate than your 570's, do your self a favour and buy a dedicated headphone amp and hang onto them !!!!

They actually sounded pretty good on the denon. I agree, better than the 570s but I prefer the 570s for other reasons.

I recently had a $400 pair of Phitek Blackbox noise cancelling phones break on me, so am very keen on something more robust (these look it). Your price is very reasonable too lol, just need funds. But yeah I'd be very keen to buy these, what's the bass like when you just run them through an I-pod?

Sounded good from the listening I did (through ipod and macbook pro and then Denon receiver). These are now sold for $200.
