My Bell Sweep R Helmet is about 1 year old and the plastic covering is de-laminating, is this a common fault with these?

Holy parc Clive.

You are so fast!

If you are wondering how you will do at Makara in round 1, bear in mind that I had to get off and stop on the 4wd hillclimb to the top junction with Aratihi, as I was so buggered, and I still beat Ricky to the top who was also buggered. We felt old and unfit. You will be smashing it and home for a cuppa before I cross the line!

Glad I don't race road if they mock tape on helmets. I would be stuffed, along with the various mends on the rest of my gear, crotch holes etc.

Congrats again on the race!!

However my MTB racing is in a whole other different (lower) league, my tech skills whilst better are not up to ricky and davo standards.

A solution has occurred to me: double sided tape! Should be okay if it's only a small cosmetic corner.

I spent most of yesterday skidding into the bush and nearly riding off bridges. I am so tired on the singlespeed that I can't concentrate on the downhills! What a mess!

I am gifting myself an extra tooth at the back though. Could it be the secret to a non-humiliating finish at Makara?

You must be building up some hugh power though with the single speed, find yourself a geared bike for the race and you should clean up.
