Been there done that. Try doing the BoXXer Worlds as a tea total mechanic.

Skulling a bag of crisps, and a can of redbull FTW!

Then getting the forks that had been reassembled with an upside munted critical circlip FTL.

according to the course that I was on today, these forks are not due for release, infact they "don't exist".....
2009 rock shox Boxxer will be much the same as the 2008 Boxxer.

There is a very good artical in last months Dirt Mag on the backbox program...

The long and the short of it is that Blackbox a perfomance prototype programme that allows SRAM to test experimental gear with it's top riders. They do not promise to every release any of the gear that they put through Blackbox, infact they have had far more "failures" than they have successes, But they learn a lot for the the failures and ultimatley they do improve the production gear.

So just because you see a Blackbox product on a pro bike doesn't mean you will see it in next years production line up. Big Grin

Much in the same way that they ended production of the Sid for 2008.....
