That SX has a pretty wild paint job.
I do like the red demo though.

It will be interesting to see if in 2010 they will bring out a new Demo (perhaps designed by Sam Hill?).

the epics are looking mint aswell as the demos and enduros, however what the flip is up with the paint job on the epic marathon! it should be on a womens bike not a dudes bike! its ugly as hell!

No that is the demo 8 I (cheap spec) which in the past has not been brought into nz.
Those red boxxers are races, not wc. If you look at the demo 8 II you will see the fox 40s same as the last few years.

I was thinking of getting an epic frame to build up but after seeing them im a little disapointed...
I still want to ride one but it had better be a lot faster than anything else to make me pay for one.

well the fact that they are alot stiffer particularly in the rear triangle and have an even better shock set up ( still with fsr) you shouldnt be disapointed! i think they look hot, except for the paintjob on the marathon...

just so you know some of these specs are wrong. for example the epic will only come in a carbon frame at expert marathon and s works and will not use rockshox forks but fox on the expert and the specialized e 100s on the marathon and s-works.

the main reason behind not making a aluminium epic anymore was that it is a true cross country race bike not for the cross country mountain bike recreational rider who should infact be riding a stumpjumper whuich uis an xc/trail bike.

the stumpjumper HT will only be vailable at the comp and carbon expert levels

Also the demos wont have totems but infact marzo 66's

most things are correct apart from these things.

The hottest bike in the range for me HAS to be the Stumpy S-Works hardtail. But strip it to a single speed.

Nice to see my 08 pitch has only had it's brakes changed for the 09 version Smile

In saying that, bike has been used twice and the front brake has already started rubbing for no reason.
