In 5th place...

Consistency: Spyder - 25,961

Take away Soler, and Spyder's only other non-finishers were Devolder (1,824) and Cunego (2,477). Worst performed finisher was Zubeldia (2,480). All other picks scored 3,000+, led by Kirchen (3,403).

Classification: pancho - 938

No points for Soler (KOM), but max points for Andy Schleck (young rider), CSC (teams) and Freire (points). The top 3 of Evans, Valverde and Andy Schleck just not up to cracking a podium finish.

This is where the hopes and dreams of two contestants are dashed whilst those whose names haven't been called can rest easy knowing that they are in the prizes.

In 4th place...

Consistency: Kah - 26,117

Just not able to secure down that third place at the final hurdle. Ricco and Cunego were the only non finishers. Of the rest only Hesjedal (2,101) and Voigt (2,448) didn't pull home over 3,000 points. Best pick was overall top scorer Kirchen (3,403).

Classification: Joel - 944

A stalwart in 2nd place with great picking of CSC (teams), Andy Schleck (young rider) and Freire 9points) to take out their respective categories. It was lacklustre performances in the final TT by Valverde (2nd) and Frank Schleck (3rd) that ultimately pushed poor Joel out of the money. Doh!

That's an improvement of 1 place from the half distance score chart - Zubeldia - cool sounding name, but maybe that wasn't such a good basis for selecting him Sad Guess I'm on the podium in the classifications, which is cool.

In 3rd place and the worthy recipient of a packet of biscuits...

Consistency: Buds - 26,561

Buds yo-yo'd in and out of the top 3 with his sprinter heavy team. Only one pick failed to finish and that was Cavendish (1,360). Robbie McEwen (2,147) was the worst of the rest with Evans (3,399) leading the pack.

Good picking that man to secure a packet of bisuits of his choosing!

Classification: Bit of a surprise here has meant that no third prize is going to be awarded. Paranoid
