I've just got my hands on an azzurri Roma - flat bar road bike.
I comute about 15km each way to work, and i'm currently riding my ultegra roadie.
I want to use this roma, but i want to turn it into a fixie. Any ideas on the cheapest way to do this? ie. type of hub?
Also, what would the best gear ratio be, the route to work is flat so no need for a hill climbing gear.
Any help much appreciated!

I can't wait to pick my fixie up wednesday.
It will only be used for my very long coffee shop run, about 1km round trip. Maybe for checking out the surf and riding to the golf club

They have vertical dropouts right? The only option you have for the rear hub is the White Industries "ENO" eccentric hub http://www.whiteind.com/rearhubs/singlespeedhubs.html
