He said that like 30 times up the Alpe! And he was saying it about Frank too...having been on the Tour for 35 years, couldn't he see some (mostly) superb defensive team riding? Eh?

Even my girlfriend who has only ever watched about 3 stages of the Tour was going "bulltihs, the Slecks have plenty of gas, they are just controlling the group" Big Grin

in their defense they where saying from about half way up the Alpe that Evans needs to ignore the schlecks and ride his own tempo to reel Sastre in... so got something right in their commentry on tactics Smile

was suprised to see Vande Velde not set the pace up the Alpe as i thought he had quite a bit too lose as well, with Sastre getting a couple of minutes on the climb.
