I wouldn't. Unless it was life-or-death, and then I might. Does anyone remember that TV show where they made that kcid who hosts NZ Idol drink his own wee? THAT was quality television.

Not as bad as ruminants, and yes - they sure do.
But if they don't eat poos then they get all sick and die. So, yeah - lucky you're not a rabbit.

been there, done that. Few years ago a few of us did it when we got lost on a climbing trip. Wide mouth nalgenes make the whole thing easier, and the hot tip is to not drink the start, or finish, of the stream, go for the middle, and let it cool down and settle before drinking. Warm ssip tastes like, well, warm ssip.
Aron Ralston did it for a few days without major problems.
Ive also ssiped on my feet when on a big tramp to help dry out blisters. Funnily enough, your ssip is pretty clean and safe to wash wounds with. The trick is to stand on a therm-a-rest, ssip on your feet, and swish them around in the ssip...then wipe down thermarest.
hmmm. ive just degraded myself.

Hey at least its useful stuff rather than a bunch of you going 'ewww grosse' and we getting nowhere.
Next week we will be seeing if beer is a better substitute for shampoo..
