Ok, so I have had a bit of time off the bike now to do all of the things a ‘normal’ person my age would do. I thought I would see what it was like being a working citizen, so I found a job where I had to work for 4 hours on one day… that was enough to find out that money may be sweet but sitting on the couch with some popcorn and a good DVD is soooo much more fun!
On rainy days I enjoyed being able to stay indoors, without having to go on the wind trainer. I also liked the fact that I didn’t have to clean my bike umpteen times. The best part was in the weekends though, I was able to thoroughly test out how good my liver works and make use of my learners licence as a now valid ID in town.
Now that I am broke and the sun is briefly shining again I am ready to start training again. The Canberra XC World Cup is my next goal, which will be held at the end of August. I have a new hot Jamis hardtail to ride on now (thanks Jamis!!) and it seems to be able to handle my Mario Chipollini thighs without breaking, so it gets teh thumbs up! Plus its red and has flames so will be really fast - picky to come. So that’s what’s happening, in case you were wondering…

And she'll be 18 then too - won't even need a fake id!
The thought of partying up large is pretty nice, but I think I'll be keen to rest up large first...
