I usually use shorts when im racing but i wondered if pants are that much different. Do you get hotter when using them? They look pretty cool i reckon

well, the pants i have are the best pants like they dont breathe all that well, but have never got to hot in them (racing BMX or DH)and when i use shorts i always have some sort of pads on.
pants are also handy because your legs dont get covered in mud

Some Lycra shorts perform much better, they are far less restrictive and don't flap around like a huge parachute
