hi guys, as you know there is going to be a race held up at Wanganui, i just would like to know what Maxxis tires would be a good match for the track?

Wet screams probably. I raced last year in the rain and it was like riding on ice with teflon tyres.
Practice day on high rollers in tacky mud was primo.

na. holly rollers get it right god.
they will b sweet in the thick clay and mud on wet pine niddles.

Wet screams if its muddy, although nothing really hooks up in the top clay sections when its really wet there.

For winter at Wanga's I'd go swampthings in 2.5 if you have good clearance or a 2.5/2.35 combo in a hrdtail
if its really really wet/muddy, time to bust out the wetscreams, 2.2's if its muddy

Well I rode all last winter on holly rollers, it wasnt to bad you got used to the lack of control and could usualy steer the bike into a rut or two to stay straight.
