Calendar Event: July 13, 2008 Race Three Results
With loads of rain falling for the two days leading up to the last event of the NDuro Winter Series, racing was always going to hard going. The sun was shining though the tracks were wet, actually very wet. This made for hard going. Well done to everyone who rode both courses, you deserve a big rest, with time reflecting the conditions.
Congratulations to all those placed in their individual categories. While we had the category races going on, we also had the Liquor King Rotorua - King and Queen of the series both long and short course. The winners for the short course were, Sonia Foote and Nick Cameron. The winners for the Long course were Annika Smail and Patrick Avery.
With the series now finished, the build up starts for the two Epics. The Red Stag Highlander and the Whaka 100, each of the races also have shorter distances to compete in.
So don't forget they start and finish at Waipa Mill Carpark, check out the website for more information.
Happy training
Dean, Marcus and the NDuro Team

looks like to hundy won't be the same as last year I guess with all the new single track that has been made lately he will want to include that ?
So I'm guess the hundy might take longer if it has more single track

Slower than my slowest Karapoti. Still fun tho. Those two wheel drifts on the muddy corners were sweet.

Congrats to teabaggers Mono and Nick_K for spectacular times across the course. Geez, Nick was close to Garth. Sharpie's name was in there mixing it with some real hardouts.
Great ride from Jase the Ace in Masters too. He'll find a few seconds to shave off next time.
I'd love to get up to these events but too far for me at the moment. Sounds great.

Garth broke his seatpost a km or two in so had to ride back to the start and get another one. Cost him quite a bit of time I'd imagine.

That is amazing. Still, on the SS i doubt i'd miss my seatpost. I am always out of it trying to lunch on my front tire.
