Friendly Llama continues t lead the consistency competition from Joel and Samul the Camul.

Big mover in the classification race is Sifter who jumps into first place due to De La Fuente's lead in the KOM. Spyder and Friendly Llama are tied in 2nd.

The perfect consistency team looks like: Kirchen, Evans, Schumacher, Pereiro, Vande Velde, Efimikin, Monfort, Valverde, Knees and Menchov - worth 13,873 points.

Not much change in the consistency... Friendly Llama is doing a Jens Voigt at the front of the pack followed by Joel. Samul has dropped to 4th, replaced in 3rd by Kah.

The classification competition has had a shake up worthy of the shake up we saw on the Hautacam!

Istepinyards has stormed into the lead thanks to Di Gregorio's attack up the Tourmalet and Ricco's ascendency to the top of the young rider classification. I have wheelsucked into 2nd and Muzza to 3rd. Everyone who picked Andy Schleck as their U25 rider are now chasing!

The perfect consistency team now looks like... Kirchen, Evans, Schumacher, Pereiro, Vande Velde, Efimkin, Monfort, Valverde, Menchov, S. Sanchez - worth 15,515.

I'm suprised. I thought I was going to be doing the usual tour thing, where I was the underdog that took the lead at the start and in the mountains I'd be cut me down in an embarassing heap... Still hasn't happened yet, I thought that was the end of my, especially with lots of my boys getting spanked in the mountains (poor old Popovych...)

I agree this had added to the event a lot, I wouldn't be following nearly as closely if this wasn't going on Smile

That would be me then. Plus Soler out, Valverde blown...all I need now is for Cavendish to pack it in to prep for Beijing and you can hand me the lantern rouge.

No so quickly Lambretta!!! those 3 of yours are the same as mind but i also have a certain Mr "Donkey" Cunego as 1 of my top 3 overall. I think the only thing that will save me will be a huge drug scandal and the race being called off!!! Satan

Cavendish hit the deck today and required a bit of treatment to his left side. Hopefully he will be ok, as for any chance of a bottle of wine needs him to complete the tour and win some more stags.

Hope that plays on is mind during the rest day Big Grin
