I'm assuming you mean road? Sorry, I can't help you. I'd imagine a lot just join the TA Group.

Yep, TA Sports http://www.teacycling.org/ is the big one around here. There is a Hamilton City cycling club too http://www.hamiltoncitycycling.com. And one called Waka ROC http://www.wakaroc.co.nz/.

For dirt: Hamilton Mountain Bike Club http://www.hamiltonmtb.org.nz/ and soon to be formed Waipa Mountain Bike Club (contact the president of the Hamilton MTB club for more info).

Oh, and Welcome to the Waikato. Smile

Oooooooh waipa mountainbike club. Cambridge isn't great for mountainbiking but there is a trail at te miro (Gobblers Knob) that is great.

TA is an awesome club. Loads of races, and their ability to produce top tier NZL / International riders speaks of the enthusiasm and professionalism with which they do things.

You could try talking to someone at Velosport or Rod at Fourseasons.

went to velosport and foue seasons, four seasons seems the better option but still small.
Morinsville is out the wrong side of hamilton - TeAwamutu is closer and better from the looks.

For now ive sussed out a few rides to get back into shape (got the darned flu atm), so ill see who i meet out on the roads for now Smile

You know what really irks me atm.
I bought the new Garmin 705 Edge GPS for my bike, and then got the most god aweful flu cold thing and it rained the same day.
Hopefully well enough to go for a ride this weekend Smile

My daughter is 12 years old and training to do Lake Taupo - i think moving to cambridge should make us hopefully elite! Big Grin

Maybe some of that gold medal loving helps
