You mean the orange thingie.

That would be the rotary that MB played with back inthe 70's. Had gull wing doors to link back to the SL300's

I think it morphed a bit over the years and used other engines.

Model number was 111. Might have been a trple rotor.

I like this one. Same colour as the one I had. Still think they are one of the prettiest casrs ever made.

yep started out triple rotor http://www.motorauthority.com/news/concept-cars/blast-from-the-past-meblahblahblah

then went to a four rotor C111-II before a turbocharged version of its 3.0L diesel engine was installed into the C111-II (now C111-III),

Chevy messed around with a concept rotary 'vette. A 266ci two rotor and a 390ci four rotor. That would sound interesting also

266ci Blink Bugger me thats huge. I'm guessing that it would have used huge amounts of fuel and been a right pig to drive.

Theres a kiwi drag team running a 26B 4-rotor, sounds mean, but nothing sounds as good as Mad Mike's 20B peripheral port batty drift car, its obscenely hot sounding!
