Hi, next week im in Queenstown from monday to thursday and hoping to be able to ride.
just a few questions though.
Hows the weather down there right now? are the jumps rideable? is it wet or just cold?

as of now there's no snow on the ground down here in qtn, been sleating a bit but nothings settled
just real cold & windy,
gorge rd jumps are soggy & rolling real slow, best to be avoided,
mini dream will be ok, possibly frozen tomorrow though
all other tracks just a bit muddy or frozen.

There's thick snow to lake level atm, and i did a hilarious snow run down Wynyard this morning on the 29er. Safe to say that by Monday you'll be out of luck for riding, unless you like sludge.

sweet, got about 1cm over here and quite a bit on the hills.
Was almost keen for a snow ride at the forest but the cold weather prevailed.

it was good but Wynyard/minidream was snowy and icy and wynyards just a bit wet.
Gorge road is good in the morning but when the sun hits them the ice drys off and they turn to muddy mush
