it's quite a few megabytes you'll never get back.
it's like someone wanted to make the worlds best browser, and then 500 other people beat him in the head while he developed it, then everyone convinced everyone else it was great and that they should use it, and they did, and the world sucked from that point on.

WRONG
see, there's one now.
I hate to be logical about this Chris but if Opera is so damn great compared to Firefox/ Internet Explorer/ Safari how come barely anyone uses it?

IE is a no brainer cos its bundled with just about every new pc these days.
Firefox, however people choose to download and use.
Opera and its quick dial and fancy gestures is just overcomplicating something that is meant to be simple and user friendly.
Safari is average.
Communicator is where it's at.

They don't have Hell Pizza's Marketing department.
And yes, stop being logical.
I used FF3 for a whole day. Hated it. Plugins be damned. Opera has had mouse gestures, tabs, back & forward without reposting, auto-refresh every x-seconds and more for years, Firefox has a thousand plugins all of which are fat and slow you down (although firebug looks cool, and I may use it occasionally just for that). I don't hate you for using it, that's your choice, I just prefer to surf smarter. A non-conformist surfer - that's me!
It's kinda like the Mac/PC debate, except people forget there are other options too.
