 |
|
Ok. Recently the stock guide on my 06 DH comp decided to bend itself beyond repair,
BUT,
I managed to pick up an e13 SRS guide cheaply from a friend. I knew there may be some problems with the linkages & iscg adapter plate getting in the way but http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-155544.html & http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110751 give ways to get around this.
I'm running an isis setup with 148mm bb spindle and iscg plate outbound so should be fine but when I screw on the crank theres no clearance between the guide & chainring.
Anyone got any pictures/diagrams to show the correct method?

I don't intend to pay for it do be done as I can do it myself, just don't want to go grinding the wrong bits off and ruining it. Do you know what he did to yours?

yea na all fixed had to grind a bit off the isgc plate to get it to clear the linkages but all good now. Couldn't space it out cos my bb spindle wasn't long enough and it would kcuf up the chainline.
BTW bman you have no clue about tihs so actually go ride your bike and come back when you know something useful eh. A bashplate has nothing to do with the setup of the guide.

I don't need a mechanic lol I can do the work myself like anyone should you should learn how to do your own tihs bman it'l save you some $$$ that you can save for trips to dirtpark so you can actually see what the track is like rather than just saying tihs you don't know hahahaha
