66 mins for me yesterday
Tried to time it so the gale force southerly would arrive just as I hit Owhiro Bay... It was late and it turned out to be a very faint headwind.
It was pretty calm but damn cold!

Although the winds made it a challenge, I did 57:59 today after the mtb ride. I felt fresh so went straight back out and smashed it on my singlespeed.
I know it sounds unlikely.. but I did put some 5psi extra front and rear to ease up the resistance.
Did I beat you Clive? I can't recall your time?

I think the riser bars helped as they made me wider from the back and allowed the tail wind to push me a bit more.

Good to be on the leader board. I'll borrow a roadbike and lay down a tiptrack time for that leaderboard too. Roadbikes are light. Should be < 22mins.

Urgh. My legs died spectacularly as I hit the bottom of Happy Valley (along with the slight headwind ). Was 1 minute slower than my previous time in the end but I felt like I was going a lot harder

I did a lap today, I thought conditions where pretty good, light northerly, I was about 30 seconds faster, although was held up a little bit with the logging and the other one way section after the cutting from seatoun.
