Think about all the National "flip-flops", are they actually flip-flops or are they a political party listening to people and doing what the majority whats!
The National party are not 'doing' anything. They are, however 'saying' what their focus groups want to hear.
I have no time for National, or what Labour have become. The sooner National take over and folks finally realise that who is in charge makes no difference the better.
We are still not going to be able to afford a house, petrol will still be expensive. Our collective assets will be sold off due to the unavoidable economic 'crisis' that is brewing. All will be will be sold to the friends of whoever is in power, who will then turn it over for a tidy profit.
Frankly, I want National in to do their worst, to at least shake some of the populace out of their greed and apathy.

Word to Mr R Edward. People need to realize that if they want to make a positive difference to their daily lives they have to pull finger and take personality responsibility for their own family/ community rather than bleating about how the current government is ruining their lives and then voting a bunch of vaguely different politicians in every 3 years.
If people want to see governments actually ruining people's lives they need to look at places like Zimbabwe and Mrymyar(sp?) - not here.

I wouldn't want to be the next party getting voted in, because they're gonna get shafted by the global economy.
The general populace will blame them and then vote them out.
So really, I'd like National to lose the next one, then sweep in with some real authority on the one after that. When they've got things swinging their way.
Just to see what they can do.
....and yeah, blaming the current ssip-poor climate on Labour is a bit dratered.
JK is MP for Helensville, which was my area up until last July when I moved, he was probably the most active, community involved MP the area has had for many years.
Plus I heard 1ZB backpeddle, after the quote from the interview was sliced and diced.

I don't mind JK, it the mongrels he's the boss of that I don't trust...
Get rid of Murray McCully, Jerry the Hutt and their kind and I'd feel more comfortable about a National Govt...

Though I just read about some ormer employers of mine (who are as unscrupulous a pack of elohesras as ever crossed the Tasman) rubbing their hands together with glee at the thought of National "deregulating" ACC.
As someone about to enter the litigating profession I will profit, everyone else will lose...
