Hey Tama, I noticed something weird just now while browsing Vorb - really high firefox CPU load which shot up to around 99% for several seconds, back down, then back up to 99 again etc. Very noticable sluggishness to the pages while surfing vorb. As in, sluggish scrolling a page due to high cpu load in the firefox process.
Not something I've seen on any other sites on my PC (decent amd 3500+ 1gb ram etc).
Just thought I'd mention it, in case others are experiencing the same thing?
However, I did just upgrade to Firefox3 earlier tonight, maybe thats got something to do with it? Hmmm maybe after upgrading Firefox it would like a reboot... though it claimed it didn't need one.
though I think it was relating to a heavy flash banner perhaps, so I imagine it might pop up on any page for those effected? I was wondering if it was something to do with the getacross flash banner... I could be wrong. I am very tired lol. I'll post back here if I continue seeing this happen.

Bugger - I keep the Search4Jobs ad and the GetAcross banner. And on my Win XP Dell Nostro 200 with 6 tabs open + all the other applications I'm hovering around 5% CPU usage.
I'm 99% sure it's not the GetAcross banner. If people can make a mental note to record what banners were showing on the page and post them here if/when their CPU does max out that'd be good.
