The leatt is overpriced for what it is, but you can do that when you are the only player in the market.

661 and EVS are coming out with there own versions soon that should be about half the price of the leatt.

it's all good, bring on the technology. soon they'll be a pat of body armour so you won't even notice it.

I know two guys that broke necks this year, and a leat would most likely have prevented months of rehab.

the old saying
$10 lid for a $10 head, springs to mind

you shouldn't be looking down any way ythe farther you look ahead the faster you can go. I have been using a evs soft collar since i had a couple of bigstacks and ended up with a very sore neck every time i rode. since i started using the evs its been much better. the soft roll is a bit more restictive than a leatt, just lighter. the leatt's are over priced in nz as the guy selling is gready! Even the retailer is only making a hundy on each one!!

Nice to see some other players bringing these to market - but how do you test the effectiveness of these with any certainty?
