Soooo, the TDF has all but finished, and it will be won and lost tonight. The pre-race favourite is down by 1min34sec on the Yellow Jersey, and there is a 52km Individual Time Trial tonight. The favourite would normally be expected to take around 2 minutes out of the man in yellow on a TT over this distance, but the Yellow jersey has been known to give a man incredible extra strength in the past. Has the tension built up enough yet?......
Sky coverage starts at just after midnight tonight, through till about 4am. Tauranga vorbers who dont have sky are welcome to come to my place and join in on the fun. Hit me with a PM and I will give you some address details.

oh, watch out if you're coming down the switchbacks at Oropi.
there's a tree fallen over half way down.
it's slip-sliding in there today.

Just spent a few hours in the switchback trail clearing punga and other vegetation off the track. Also cut the fallen tree down so the trail is now fully rideable Watch the final set of switchbacks as there is a monster rut on the RHS. Will try and get up there soon with some tools to sort it out.
