As it has already been said that was incredible, I too was proud to be apart of this.
Great vibe, huge mix of riders, big turn out...
Well done to everyone involved, and hopefully our voice will be heard and some good will come out of the tradegy that sparked this whole event.

I didnt go on the ride, but cranked past on the courier bike when you were all gathered at parliament, looked like a good turn out!! Got regular updates over the radio on your progress from the couriers behind you :-p
Good stuff.

Well done Wellington and to all those that helped organise and ride in it!!
What a fantastic turnout for such a sad, but necessary event to support the 2 guys that lost their lives, and families that lost there loved ones. And also cycle safety in general.
Great stuff!

What a moving (in every sense!) tribute to those cyclists who lost their lives.
Good work to Sifter and the Police, but also to every one of us who was there - we certainly showed that we are a serious force to be reckoned with...

They lost one of their own - they'll be hurting badly at the moment. I'm sure they appreciated the memorial ride just as much as cyclists do.
Nice one Sifter and everyone who went for the ride

Today was a great ride, thanks sifter and the police. Can we organise an escort every day of the week. I think there was a few more than the 15 who registered at Parliament!
Today was a my first ride after getting knocked off my bike by the Railway Station by some opening a car door back in April. Just 4 stiches and 2 months of lost riding. But at least I'm still able to ride.
One June Monthly train ticket from Johnsonville now available at a good price.
Hopefully there is a large joined panorama attached on the Petone foreshore.
Does anyone know who was taking the pictures with the real panorama camera at parliament ?

Awesome stuff.
So happy I was able to skip work for the arvo and ride along with the rest of you. It was fantastic to chat to complete strangers during the cruise to petone. Only downer for me was forgetting to wear something warm .
