Thought about it - never got around to it.

Walked up through it last year on our way to the summit. We were feeling it by the top, so I think with having to push the bike up there, it'd be a one run affair.

The track in and out wouldn't be too bad to ride either.

yep riding the mountain is a big no no!

if you pick a open and well used place like the ski feild yourl be asking to get yelled at by a crazed tramper. however if you are prudent and ride some of the lesser known tramping tracks around the mountain its some of the best riding in taranaki.

don't be a fool and rock up to a track that has lots of cars parked. pick one where there is no cars one and go and explore. if you see an doc vehicle and go riding anyway then you are asking for trouble and a fine. i think the fine is $200 or maybe $500.

i could tell you what the best tracks are but i would have to kill you.
