Yup, after 6 years of roadtripping fun I'm selling the Hearse. I've put it on dratme at a $1 reserve so if you want an awesome roadtripping vehicle that can carry 4 adults, 4 mountain bikes, gear and bags from Christchurch to Queenstown and use less than 11 litres to 100km go nuts {Double Thumbs Up}

Auction is here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=155128298

I will be sad to see it go {Huh}

I will be genuinely sad to see the Hearse go because I've had a lot of great times in it roadtripping around New Zealand. But we've bought a newer, smaller, and comparatively gutless car and running two cars is pretty silly these days.

Our current living situation means a newer, smaller car made a lot more sense. We could run 2 cars but at the end of the day that's a whole pile of money I could be spending on bikes {Smile}

I did toy with the idea of doing the photo shoot with the Hearse in the middle of a field churned up with doughies {Tongue it}

don't be silly - bikes go in garages, cars go in driveway. If you have enough room to park ANY car (even a mini) in your garage, you need more bikes! {Satan}

{Mobile Post} you need to see my 'garage' to appreciate my comment {Wink} and bikes live in the house - not the garage - heathen {Satan} House for bikes, garage for cars, workshop for working on bikes/cars. the three should never be mixed {Hmmmm}

No no no

Workshop for holding the car and bike bits you can't fix or might need 1 day.

Kitchen table, lounge, bedroom is where you fix the bikes! {Satan}

If I'm right in guessing the winner they're a Christchurch mountain biker who needed something to tow their boat. Also a Drop In fan {Smile}

So a perfect new owner really {Double Thumbs Up}
