Hi Guys
I've already posted this (below) in the BMX forum which is probably the correct place for it. I thought I'd cross post just in case there was any interest from this neck of the woods.
Cheers
I'm new to the forum and not a BMXer - though I did used to be back in the day (1981) so forgive me if I'm not really up with the play as far as the sport is concerned nowadays. I wish I still had my Mongoose Motomag though.
I'm wondering what the interest level for BMX'ing is in Palmy North - particularly BMX racing. There does not seem to be a club locally who would be able to answer such a question easily but I see plenty of guys out there on bikes. Would any of you be interested in forming a club with a view to lobbying/fundraising for decent facilities inc a racing track? That's not to exclude those of you who are into flatland, freestyle, street etc - remember there is strength in numbers.
PM me if you are interested. Thanks for looking.
