Closest Trail to papamoa - come out of domain road, turn towards Te Puke, turn right at Welcome Bay Road after the Shell, then it's the first road on the left as you head back towards Tauranga, just on the the second dip to the left. Then go about 3km up Reid road, there's a stockyard on the left that is the main carpark.

Yes there are,
a 5 minute roll down the field from the carpark.
Make sure you sign the book and stick a gold coin or 2 in the box Wink

Went there on Sunday for the first time, pretty impressive views and layout.Found the downhill up the road good but not to flash getting back out ,a bit tough for an old fella, will need to toughen up before I do it again.Would be "interesting"on a wet day !!The track opposite the car park is great really had fun wish it was longer .Well worth the visit.
