Just getting a health and safety audit done on the area as per DOC requirements. These little things keep popping up which take up a bit more time. Going through all the paper work, this seems to be the last thing we need to do to get the approval we need to go dig !!!
I'll keep you all posted

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Yo Yo Yo, I just got written confirmation yesterday in the post that i now have a consession from DOC to make a mountain bike/BMX track and jumps up on the plateau behind Thames known as Scarface. First job is to get the trees and scrub removed and get the access track gravelled. XTREME !! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Oooooooh Oooooooh Oooooooh Oh awesome. How are we going to get the trees and scrub removed? Are we just going to go up there with machetes or do we need a doc guy to do it ? Laugh Out Loud Hmmmm

We arn't allowed to use any powered tools up there. Hopefully the polytechnic will still clear the trees for us and we'll just remove the firewood and throw the branches over the bank.

Hey Guys, D.O.C has put up the posts to hang the gate on and put up rails and block cars and motorbikes from entering scarface. Also they have graded the car parking area for us. Because its so late into winter and every thing is so damp and boggy, digging will have to be done spring time.
