also i asked my LBS if they could match nz online store pricing...so far so good on a the few things i have asked(tyres and tools)...
i would sooner support local..but sometimes it comes down to cold hard$$...

D) All of the above. Bike shop if its a small thing, or a whole bike, T7 for random cheap bits, often online overseas if its some bling part and significantly cheaper than the LBS, and lots off mates / here / trademe

LBS for parts that need fitting by someone that knows what they are doing. Or for anything I want right now, or that requires an educated opinion.
Online or trademe in NZ for consumables, parts that don't require expert attention, clothing etc.
Don't buy from overseas.

I buy things off mates... or things that are on super specials...
Have bought things of ebay, overseas online stores, nz online stores as well as local bike shops...
Depends on where is giving me a good deal and how quickly I need it!!
