Matt Scoles ended his season on a bad note after crashing at the Oceanias in Nelson. At first the report was that it was just a very badly sprained ankle but after a x-ray it showed a break.

Matt had a great first season on Team Wide Open with a number of top finishers and was awarded the 2008 Central Otago Junior Sportsman of the year award.

Matt’s ankle is slowly on the mend and Matt is planning on racing the World Cup in Australia later in the year.
