Yeah,

I have been suggesting this for ages. I could get my olds to help and the sponser would possible provide transport or at least the truck to use?

I was also thinking it would be cool to see if we could mark out a grass track Dual Slalmon race near the south side bmx track (on the hill) and have a race there

Wat you thinking, like series points?

The XC have a winter series and that takes more organising

I rekon all money paid for entries get put into a kitty, then used for expenses. At thye end of the series we have a big old feedup at bluff or something or put it towards a shuttle day or a party?

And none of this 3 race runs bultihs

1 seeding

1 race

Nations format.

Half points for your place in seeding and full points for your place in your race run.

Much better and cuts down time it all takes aswell as helping us get ready for nats races. And this way crashing does matter as you dont have 2 other runs to get a clean time

yea i'm sure I can get a caged trailer for the day, and just race different tracks each time cuz we got heaps of options on bluff. Get a bit creative which would keep us interested. One every 2 weeks/ month??? Points table. Just get a riding community going on

yeah points table. or ecxtra money goes to winners. only have womens and mens/ hardtails. no age groups. every1 races every1 else.

Yeah lots or different tracks to race, well different variations.

or do you think we should do age groups. I just dont think there are enough people down here for a full on agge group race. or maby u15 and over 15?

I rekon winter just started, there would be at the least 5 races (2 week gap)?? could be more or monthly, time to organize events. for this to work everyone needs to help out but if everyone wants it, it shouldn't be a problem. u17and over17, hardtail, female.

Anyone can come down for them.

Eddie.

Lets get together and set some dates.

Each race we would need 4 helpers

2 for timing
1 driver
and t least 1 marshal

pm me a time that suites you to et togehter and ill get the boys along.

If we get together before next thursday we can take it to the mtb club meeting. I reckon we should make out own sub group for the DH races, then we can run them how we like but still be backed by the mtb club.

lets talk!

Soundz good we need suitable numbers to make it worth while. (no less than 15-20)? ask around who would race it. Every month sounds good prob til October or november, the 1st in end of May and then last sat of every month. thats bout 6 or 7 races. gather more details like people who would help, way of shuttles etc... Just have a casual feel to it thou, we want to build a riding community and bring in out of town riders too
