Pedal Pushers should be able to get parts you want.

The only downhill riding is at kahutawara, and there is a downhill track and another that is more freeride.

Otherwise theres levin(30mins south), wanganui(1hr north) and wellington (1 hr 45min south) for downhill and kapiti bike park (1hr south) for more freeride orientated riding.

Hey dude

if you want spares for your ride, and you want a good mechanic pedal pushers is your option

Mo, one of our mechanics is a DH racer (and a great mechanic)

I work there also as the parts guy / warrenty guy / general job guy and also know a wee bit about DH (been riding DH off and on now for over 10 years)

local tracks we have got some runs out at our local area called K-loop

come on in (we're the biger of the two local shops) and ask for Dean

I use 2.5 minion fronts. It doesn't seem to get really slippery that you need muds.
