Ah... might be the Pitch - that rings a bell now. It's a 6" Specialized fully with Pikes - a nicely specced bike and it's not even hideously ugly: http://www.bikemagic.com/news/article/mps/UAN/5706/v/1/

Tama, you came 43rd. I would be happy with that, how about a race report.

I thought they recalled the Pitches in the US? Could be wrong though, maybe they had a different model overthere.

Heh - I just wanted to do 10 runs and have a good time riding my bike, so I won Double Thumbs Up

If I have time I'll do a write up - I haven't even cleared all of my e-mails yet Wink

I think you missunderstood me, I wasnt bagging you. It looks like you came in mid field so I was intrested in your experence of the event. Im wishing to do it next year and would probably be about the same.

No, I think you misunderstood me - I didn't think you were bagging me at all Tongue it

I'm keen to write something up as I probably represent the vast majority of riders - in it for the good times on a fun track rather than out to knock Geoff and Mark off the podium. But I've been out of the office for a week and am still swimming through the backlog so we'll just have to see.

Cool 38th.Bloody happy with that.11 laps with one of my gloves stuffed in my tire to cover up a tear in the sidewall I got at the top of my second run,a broken chain at the top of another run that made me coast down to the pits for spares and some shocking cramp around laps 7/8/9 which then stopped. It was a good day not to hot and the rain the day before settled all the dust nicely.

Make sure you put in the bit about stealing my uphill line on the last lap Laugh Out Loud

Loved the course, nailed the climbs, next year we'll be there again knowing what to expect.
