Cound anyone give advice on XC/trails around Castlepoint? I'm going there this weekend and I wonder if it is worth to take a bike.

there is some riding in the foresry area south of castle point on the road out to flat point. I've never been there, only heard of it so know nothing else - consult a map.
Castle Point itself dosn't have any tracks really, but you could have fun exploring some farm 4wd tracks if you know the land owner.....loads of motor X bogan types out that way so be careful.....don't wander away from the group; city boys fetch a decent price in the rapa

There is a walking track at Castlepoint itself which you could ride but it would only take around 20 min to do. So probably not worth taking your bike all the way out there just for that.
