3 News had a short section on Saturday on the new downhill track in Brooklyn, Wellington, used for the third round of the North Island DH series - it looks like a lot of fun!

Just saw it on 3. Pretty cool. Nothing too big in terms of jumps/ drops etc. Just flowy and cool.

the middle "jawbone" section is super fun. everything flows really well.

no not really, i was considering using my short travel bike instead. Some riders are using xc bikes

Nope, you could get down it on a rigid it's so smooth, the only dodge bit is the last bit the goat track. Theres pretty much no jumps on the actual jawbone peice of track, but theres 4 jumps on the top section, but it seemed it was too windy for most people.

that was such a great day today , that track flows so nice!the last bit you basically have to let go of the brakes and hold on for dear life
