yeah was a great day...may not be running one for a while now, will be holding a club meeting soon to decide where to go from here and what to do. i would really like to thank thorg for his help, as he fronts everytime to help and doesnt complain, it is really hard to run a semi organised race between the 2 of us and hope in the near future we can get more people to help on the day....
i belive there is a niche for races like ours.. friendly easy going on some ok trails..we will have to really get stuck in and develop the area as so it doesnt get stale and grows with progressive riding trails able to cater for events and provide an intresting place to come and ride....
later

I am thinking of holding social night races once daylight savings is here. $6 entry ($2 prize pool - $2 spot prize pool $2 event running) - entry on the night. 5 races, every second week for 10 weeks. Course will not be known to racers till the start, event start 10 mins before sundown and take no longer than 50mins for an average rider - aiming on 30-40 mins.
sound good? should be able to run them single handed - but all help appreciated
who would race

I think Onerahi's point about that him and Thorg can't be expected to run these races by themselves is a good one. Some of you other guys should get more involved in the race organisation, even if it means missing out on runs.
