Hi everyone!

Sorry about the lack of emails lately, it's been difficult to even find a computer round these parts!

Leogan IXS was an awesome track. The Lahar loved it! First practice day was dry and fast with loads of exposed tree roots, fast sections with jumps intemingled with slower technical sections. The often off-camber tree roots posed no problem while it was dry and I had the most fun riding that I've had since i got to europe. An awesome track. It rained a little over night on Friday, making for a crazy track on Saturday morning, slippery, slidey fun!

Seeding run was on Saturday and I came 5th (5.56mins), only a couple of seconds off 4th... I was pretty damn excited! I had fallen off  once in seeding so I knew i could do better in the race runs....

Race day was Sunday, and it was a super 'sun' day......30 degress.... very very hot!!! Unfortunately, we thought (because we can't read Austrian) that there was two race runs (like our previous IXS race) but apparently this isn't the case in Austria... I was pretty dissapointed that i didnt get a second chance to race after my my race run....where I crashed twice... doh. Interestingly, my race run time (
5.51mins) was still faster than my seeding time.... Mio came 1st, Swiss girl Miriam came 2nd, and Vanessa came 3rd, another swissy came 4th.... Harriet had a clean smooth run and came up with a 5th and me 6th overall....yay!

So, now we are 100km down the road from Leogang in Shladming.... for the World Cup... We get to walk the track on Thursday, then training starts of Friday... Racing Sunday!

Then, it's back to UK for me (to do the British NPS races) and Home to NZ for Harriet...

Will try to find a way to send some photos to you all Smile

Hope you are all well, take care

Love liv Smile
