Practice day today for the Nissan UCI World Cup in Vigo Spain.
Light rain overnight has sprinkled the track and made it nice and tacky. The track is fast and rocky with some soft sandy sections that are starting to blow out. Everyone is searching for alternative lines that wont get blown out in a hope to carry more speed. The track is quite flat so pumping and being able to carry speed the the technical sections looks like the ticket. This is a real pedalers track.
There was a Spanish nation race here last weekend, which Sam B did, and got 4th so he could pull off a good one on sunday.
Kiwi riders competing on sunday are:

Jenna McGill
Scarlet Hagen
Justin Leov
Matt Scholes
Mike Skinner
Glenn Haden
Sam Blenkinslop
